Christening weekend

The event we've been expecting since the beginning of this year took place last weekend, the Christening  of the two little angels in our lives, Toma and Maria (Toma is one of my best friends soon and Maria is my boyfriend's niece). 

As you may have figured, we had to look great and I can proudly say we made it, you can see for yourself.

As for the details, I wore my usual black melon hat, a faux leather skirt, the Martens shoes with a short pair of Calzedonia socks, a black top from Vero Moda ,a hand made leather clutch and the awesome ring I was expecting from Peaceful people handmade jewellry

My man found most of the clothes in a Outlet, most of them are Jack&Jones, together with the blue Converse and the  Laboratorul de papioane bow tie 

Work out/ work in

Did I tell you I've started going to the gym? Yeah, I know I'm slim but I still need some work here and there and let's face it, things start to change with the age so better prevent that. And besides that, it's healthy. 

Yeah I've skipped a few sessions (a few too many) but I'm struggling to hold on to this. Giving up is not an option (mostly because it's my boyfriends gym and I'd have no excuse to do that now!)

Staying fit and fashion go great together, clothes will look even better on a worked out body so you just wait and see how I will turn out on a couple of months. I promise to start summer in grate shape! 

Talking about this , I want to brag and tell everybody how proud I am of my boyfriend and that he started this gym (together with a box trainer). He's been dreaming about it for some time and he's very excited about the work he started . So if you need/want to get fit (for the summer or for any other reason) you're all welcomed!!!

Another one from the road

Here's another one form my last trip, a mostly black outfit with blue influences. 

You've previously seen mostly of the pieces worn in this picture, but in different mixes. I don't have that many clothes after all, I just mix them a lot. And of course I never have enough clothes...

B-day

Yup dup dup today is my B-day...I'm turning thirty something, can you believe it?

This is how a thirty something acts :))))

I have here a picture with the present I told you about last week from my boyfriend, the accessories from Peaceful People. And the present from my colleagues, a pair of DC snickers from U-man shop (I must admit, I picked my own present ). And a picture of the table full of sweets that I prepared at work.

So today I am wearing one of the necklaces as you cans see, together with a traditional Romanian  inspiration skirt and with the DC snickers.

Where is the sun?!?!

I told you spring is here but now I'm starting to wonder if I was right...No more sun, no more warm weather, I've even seen snow last week. Well yeah ok, I was high on a mountain, but still...Where is my spring? Where is the Sun?

I've returned to my good old black knee high boots and blue sweater, and added to it, guess what...another piece of my hand made present, a black beaded necklace made by the same Peaceful people

Until my sun is back, I'll try to survive and pray for better weather!

Current obsession

I promised you some outfits I wore on the road so here is the first one.

You may have noticed my obsession for the blue shoes...and for the pink blouse...

What can I say, I have no excuse, this is my current passion but I'm aiming for some new acquisitions that will change the situation...soon my friends, very very soon 

But have you noticed my cute colorful flowery socks? Aren't they adorable?! I should definitely get some more of this kind

Return of the Me

I've been traveling again last week, to the Teius (Alba) factory and to a beautiful Romanian town, Sibiu. But as it was a business trip again, I didn't get to see many things, just a few car window landscapes  and the view from the balcony.But that's better than nothing. Oh yeah, and we made a couple of stops on our way there so I did get the chance to take some pictures. I'll show you some these days.
But today you'll have glance at my new hair cut and on the clothes I wore in the office.
I told you my birthday is coming and my man (as a perfect boyfriend and the great guy that he is) already gave me my present, a bunch of hand made accessories, yes a hole bunch of them.

A rosy piece of rainbow

Guess what...another cloudy morning...What do I do on  a cloudy morning? I try to bring back the sun (and for some unknown reason, it worked). How do I do that? By wearing some rainbow colors, flowers, roses to be more precise...yup you guessed well, the Romwe rose printed blouse (matched with my purple H&M hat and my Puma snickers)

I am proud to say I managed to put some smiles on my colleagues' faces with all these colors

What do black clouds and flowers have in common?

Today I woke up to see a big bad dark cloud but that could not ruin my day or my Spring. That's because I have a few "flowers" in my life to brighten up the day. I have 2 little babies in my life - one is my boyfriends niece, a future fluffy astronaut (as her mother likes to say)  and the other is my friend's baby boy whom I have just seen last evening, a very very happy baby, laughing already with his entire face. 

And I also have my sleepy head boyfriend to make me smile every morning, so no cloud can darken my days...even better, the sun decided to show up after lunch.

For a dark day I picked a black outfit...but not entirely. You can recognize my lovely DR Martens shoes from previous posts and I've also shown you the Terranova shirt before, but only on the hanger. On may neck I added the H&M short golden chain necklace, this is its first day out'and I am wearing it proudly even if I thought I'd never own something similar...oh and how could I forget, my black and white dotted socks from Calzedonia

Welcome April

For me, this is the first day of Spring. Why? I am starting to realize Spring is my favorite season and April my favorite month...because my birthday is coming up! 

So what if I am growing older, I will be receiving presents yeeyyy!!!! I still have that nice feeling from my childhood, that anxiousness for that day to come, but I have to wait a little more till the 22nd. No worries, time flies!

I am enjoying the sunny, warm weather and expecting my birthday with my arms wide open.

And on such a pleasant day as today I've even took a small walk in the morning and went buying for a present...not mine, my bosses. I noticed she loves silver jewelry so I picked a pair of earrings and a matching necklace, hope she'll like it (as I take pride in being a great gift picker)

As for me, I'm planning to start something up...I need to do something I'm proud of so I decided to go with hand made necklaces. I've started with the one I'm wearing today which I made from some leftovers, but one of these days I'm planning to visit some shops and buy me some materials to start up .
